Media Monday: Sermon on “21st Century Spirituality” by Dr. Paul Yin

Our “media” today is an audio sermon.

Dr. Paul Yin was the guest speaker at our church yesterday, and he shared with us his thoughts on 21st century spirituality. The sermon sparked lots of conversations among our church members. I was also very inspired to learn more. Here’s the audio (about 50 minutes long):

You can read the English version of the sermon at Dr. Paul Yin’s blog:

A Call To Reform (Part 1)
A Call To Reform (Part 2)

One of my most favorite quotes from the above links is:

“I believe the reform will focus on a spirituality that emphasizes not so much on how much we have achieved but on how broken we are, for the acknowledgment of our brokenness reflects how much we need Jesus.”

Tim’s thoughts on the sermon: “The gospel is not only meant to be believed, but also to be lived.”
