I was rooting for Kurt Warner to win yesterday’s Superbowl, because not only is he a great person and a superdad and has a great story of making it to the NFL, but also he’s a Christian who tries to steal every moment to proclaim his faith in Jesus Christ. I think he knows well that in today’s post-Christian world, sadly the name “Jesus” is associated with narrow-mindedness, fear-mongering, and foolishness. He knows the abuse he would suffer from this, but he gladly bears the shame and still keeps talking about Him. For that I respect his (in a way) simple-minded faith in just thanking Jesus every time he has a chance.
Here’s a video I found on YouTube talking about Kurt Warner and his proclamations about Christ.
