Media Monday: The Visitor

I originally watched this movie because it was recommended by Christianity Today. And it is a pleasant surprise.

At first, the main character in the movie “The Visitor”, Walter Vale, seems like a mean person. But stick with it, and you’ll find an interesting story, a story of real human emotions. It’s also a story of discovery about one’s mission and passion in life. The movie is also a little bit anti-American. At one point, one of the characters said about America, “This is just like Syria.” I like the words shown in the official trailer of the movie, which says:

You can live your whole life
And never know who you are
Until you see the world
Through the eyes of others

Tim’s thought for the movie: “It’s never too late to discover and pursue your true mission in life”.
